Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood level to young adults, and adult learners.

We have a vacancy for a Kaiako (Teacher) to join the Northern Region team. We are looking for a Kaiako with strengths in English who understands and is passionate about current pedagogy and is able to deliver authentic, student directed learning programmes in an increasingly online environment.
Your willingness to learn, innovate, work collaboratively and build relationships, along with a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements is essential. Recent experience in teaching English at NCEA Level 1 to 3 is desirable. Experience with student management systems and processes is an advantage.
