Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand’s largest state education provider, offering distance learning programmes from early childhood to NCEA Level 3. With over 28,000 enrolments annually, including overseas ākonga, young adult, and adult learners, we connect with diverse communities across the country.
Since 1922, Te Kura has evolved to meet the changing educational needs of ākonga. Our guiding philosophy, ki te tī, ki te tā, ki te katoa – anywhere, anyone, at any time – ensures that we deliver education online and throughout Aotearoa via our 15 tari-ā-rohe | regional offices .
