Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education for learners from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners.

It's an exciting time at Te Kura and we are looking for an innovative and collaborative Team Leader to join the Northern Region.
You'll have great interpersonal skills and have a proven record of managing a group of teachers, plus a track record of working positively to deliver on organisational strategic direction. You'll manage the team, assist with building a dynamic teaching and learning environment and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and pastoral support to our ākonga (students).
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their expertise in:
- leadership and management, including performance and staff development
- enabling ākonga (students) to achieve
- planning and assessment, and
- effective relationship management
There is a teaching component to this role so applicants must be trained teachers with current NZ registration and relevant qualifications.
