Job Description
Fixed Term - Part Time (May - July 2026)
FTE 0.6 (24 Hours per week)
Will be based in our Palmerston North tari.

In this role, you will:
- Design and deliver personalised, authentic learning programmes tailored to the strengths and needs of ākonga.
- Facilitate weekly Huinga Ako, guiding and supporting students through their educational journeys.
- Collaborate with colleagues and interact with students online and in person to foster meaningful learning experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Te Kura's ongoing transformation of distance learning.

You will bring:
- New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate
- Strong knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum and assessment practices
- A calm, inclusive, and supportive approach to teaching and pastoral care
- Confidence using digital tools to connect with learners
- Enthusiasm for collaborative, values driven teaching
